Billing Specialist
Pay: $21 - $23 / hour
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 7am to 3:30pm
Location: Chesapeake, VA

We're hiring a Billing Specialist to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations. This role is key to the day-to-day success of our accounting department.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare, verify, and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner

  • Maintain and organize billing records, customer files, and payment documentation

  • Perform data entry for accounts receivable transactions

  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve customer payment issues

  • Support month-end and year-end billing processes

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and compliance

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of billing or accounts receivable experience

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Experience with accounting or ERP software is a plus

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
