Accounts Receivable Specialist

Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
Apply customer payments, including checks, credit card transactions, and third-party financing.
Maintain detailed and organized accounts receivable records and documentation.
Research and resolve customer account discrepancies and billing issues.
Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment inquiries.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure proper posting of payments.
Assist in preparing month-end reporting and accounts receivable aging reports.
Provide support for audits by supplying requested documentation.
Prepare and deliver daily and weekly reports related to receivables.
Maintain job costing portal to ensure accurate billing and compliance tracking.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required; 1–3 years of accounts receivable or accounting experience preferred.
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; familiarity with accounting software desired.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to report in-office 5 days a week.
